Welcome to Delta Junction for Kids!
Hi there, and welcome to Delta Junction (Alaska) for Kids, a space created just for families like yours!
As a mom of four who splits her time between Delta Junction and Washington, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of figuring out where to go, what to do, and how to make the most of this incredible place with kids. The information is often scattered—some on websites, some in Facebook groups, and some you just have to learn by word of mouth. It often left me scrolling and piecing together plans from multiple sources.
That’s why I created this site. It’s a one-stop resource for families exploring Delta Junction—whether you’re visiting or lucky enough to call it home part of the year. From outdoor adventures and kid-friendly activities to tips from locals and seasonal must-dos, this website is here to help you make the most of every moment.
What You’ll Find
We’re just getting started, but you’ll soon find:
Activity Guides: Find the best spots for swimming, hiking, fishing, and more.
Tips from Local Families: Insider advice to make your adventures easier and more enjoyable.
Seasonal Highlights: Summer berry-picking or winter northern lights, there’s something magical in every season.
A Work in Progress
This site is very much a work in progress. As we continue to adventure, learn, and connect with others in the community, we’ll keep adding new content. If you have tips, must-see spots, or local insights, I’d love to hear from you!
Thanks for joining us on this journey—I hope this site inspires your own Delta Junction adventures. Stay tuned for more tips, stories, and ideas, and don’t forget to share your experiences with us!
Happy adventuring,
Kara 💜
